[Misc] Problems with new Colour C60

Morning all,

Client has just bought a new one of these.

It's a stand alone machine, no PS kit, Fiery or Freeflow.

It's printing very slow from LAW. A 29 page TIFF file will take around 5 minutes.

They're considering a Fiery now. Just want to make sure this will improve things?

I had written this long winded funny post but decided to erase it. So your customer bought a sports car and grandma uses it once a week to go to church. This machine without any type of Fiery is just out right ridiculous. You can get a Bustled Fiery and that is what they have or you would not be able to Print. PS is standard on the Bustled Fiery. As far as Creo or Free Flow I am sure if they went cheap on the first round they will not fork over the money to get an external. But if all they are doing is printing TIFF (not sure why this format as you can save as PDF and send over) Yes a fiery will speed things up with ripping and printing as you now are only spooling and printing. Just had client go from a Canon with a Fiery to the DocC60 and the difference is night and day. In 15 months they have printed 848k mostly color.
