    WC7120 quality issue

    Hello

Xerox WC7120 prints lighter on the bottom part of page. It is quite strange as CMYK colours seems to be ok on whole page.
I have checked the primary transfer belt, 2BTR, drums. Could you advise where can be a problem please?

    Here is a picture

Being that the yellow is tapering off at the bottom and the solid yellow is showing signs of white on the sides is not a good sign. Wipe the drums and execute the print samples again and if it changes then it will be the respective drum. Does it go into Calibration all the time and then tell you to install a black toner when one is in there? Does it power off then on and ask for toner to be installed? if you can answer these we can narrow it down.

    Hope this helps.

Hi thank you for yoyr reply

Solid colours look fine. The white gap between Magenta and Black is on the original document so it has to be like that.
Machine does not go into calibration and does not ask to install any toner.

I can agree that there is a problem with Y colour because LSU glass had a lot of yellow toner on it. I wipe current drum and even swap drum from another machine but it has the same issue. Current drums are around 78%. Any idea?

Here is a sample of Yellow colour printed from pattern 59 which looks fine.

Do a panic stop of the machine before the transfer of the image from ibt to paper.
Check with attention how the image look on belt.
Also panic stop at the moment when half of the image is transfered on paper and do a check how the image look on paper and how it look on belt.
Use A3 size sheets of paper for ease of tests.
