No cyan printing after developer change

Im at a loss on this one. I changed out the black and the cyan developer and charge on our WC7655. Black is printing fine. But there is no cyan now. I put the barcode number in atc setup. I put the old dev unit back in, changed the barcode again and the same thing. Im at a loss on what would have happened just changing out the developer unit. Any ideas?

Ok i figured it out. Top of the spring connector(ground?) was bent down. Bent it up and slighty bent the tab on the back of the devoloper and she works now.

I do have another question, any one know what would be causing a squeeking noise from the machine? It sounds like its coming from above the fuser area in the ibt area. Bad bearing? The machine does get dusty inside pretty quick. I know I should probably replace the other two dev units now to try to keep the dust down. The inside of the ibt looks pretty dirty with yellow toner. It only has 200k on it, but its probably 8 years old at this point.

Above the fuser is where you'll find the IBT cleaning assembly. Has that been replaced?

Yes it is the IBT assy. You can rebuild these to keep the costs down about $200 USD and 45 mins max of your time. I would look at the IBT cleaning assy as that just may need a good cleaning. If you rebuild them you can really clean them in the inside and would suggest you do this, 200k on that machine is very low. I have these in the field well over a million. If the developers are not showing signs of poor print/copy quality you are good to go but keep an eye on them. Xerox supplies are a little expensive but continue to use them and you will see 1 mil easily with this machine. Use generic supplies and I would suggest you stock up on Developer Housings and Powder, IBT Assy and 2 BTR Assy and dont expect the machine to get rid of the 043 error code. Just remember they will tell you anything to get you to buy them as they are not the ones relying on the machine.

        Hope this helps

I figured its probably the IBT assemebly. Ill look into rebuilding it. It comes and goes. Sometimes it quiet others it squeeky. I havent replaced the belt cleaner, i have taken it apart and cleaned it out a couple of times. The blade in there probably should be replaced. It prints good, i replaced the black developer cause the blacks werent printing solid. I would adjust the color and it would be ok but than start to loose its density. I replaced the cyan cause it kept covering the developer in cyan toner and the charge roll on the drum kept getting dirty quickly.

Check values in toner control, could be toner housing not reading correctly and starving tank of toner

Ill check that out. I do know it has toner and I believe that it is dispensing it. The percentage left is has dropped since this issue started.

                Thanks all!

It appears you are correct. Appears to be not dispensing toner. It came back, tested the toner dispense motor, dispenses. Start printing again, and the blacks are solid again. Ill order a new housing and sensor. Hopefully that will fix it. Attached picture is before and after running the dispenser motor.20160722_231225.jpg20160722_231249.jpg
