Workcentre 7328...I replaced a drum and as stupid as I am, blew it out a little bit with compressed air...now get code 009-349. I can't find anywhere how to figure out how to make it go away.
That fault code indicates a failure of the 1st BTR roller to retract. The 1st BTR rollers are located inside the transfer belt assembly. There is a sensor that that detects the retract position for the 1st BTR rollers. By using compressed air, you probably blew toner dust on the sensor. You'll need to remove the transfer belt assembly, remove the transfer belt from the assembly, clean all rollers and sensors located under the belt on the transfer assembly. Reinstall the belt on the assembly (make sure to center the belt as best as you can).
