workcentre 7765 altboot success now what

In the continuing saga of this 7765, I was able to change the hard drive and altboot was a success. the machine printed out info about the altboot upgrade success and a configuration report. So far so good. Now the boot screen is up saying there are some network services unavailable involving DCHP. And the line below, system is in a non customer format.

You guys and gals have been able to get me this far....what do I need to do now to get communication with the computer and get it into customer use format?

Maintenance tool and go to network connectivity and change from DCHP to Static IP

Good to hear from you again. Not so concerned about the network right now. Want to know why it came up with message not in customer mode and how to get it to where it will copy. I can check out the port I have the machine on with the computer and see if the computer is recognizing the copier...copier probable was assigned a new IP when the upgrade was done. Was everything I need in the upgrade when I used the altboot? The hard drive was obviously the problem for the original freeze. I need this machine back on line as soon as possible so I really appreciate your time.

Not in customer mode is an nvm value change. Will look it up now. After that, you will have to enter a supplies activation code and you'll be good to go.

Change NVM 616-014 to 4, exit diagnostics and reboot.

wait!!! do not put the value (4) on "non costumer mode" the NVM read and Write 616-014 put 2.
Thats mean install phase, and you must complete it like insert all system configuration as Time, Date, Phone Number, IP and time zone.
do not put 4, if you put 4 you will get the error with the time and network. because the machine will get another date like (10.08.2015 ) and the PC or SERVER (10.08.2016)
OBS. you must put Value (2) and complete the instalation to set correct time and date

4's fine, just runs you through the setup like a new machine. Takes 2 mins.
