i just got a brand new xerox 7830 after setup machnice show to key in cosumer activate code anyone here have it thanks...

It sounds like the machine has auditing turned on. (each user or each department has their own code to log in so that the machine records how many pages that person or that department prints) You can log into the machine as the Administrator to turn that feature off or edit the codes. The default Administrator log in for Xerox machines is Login:admin, password:1111. Go to the Xerox website to find and download the Administrator's Guide for full directions on logging in and making these changes.

If you can not log in as the Administrator (if the default login or password has been changed), you will need to log in to the machine in diagnostics mode to reset the machine back to default settings.

Sounds like you need to enter a supplies activation code? Which is the activation code when changing from non metered to metered toner.

You would need to get this from Xerox. You can enter a new code either through centreware as shown in pic or through tools menu at device.
