Hi there. I have ColorQube 9301. Machine was turned off for about 15 days because. After powering on it gives error code: 99-271? What is that? As far as I know its PEST Fault - what does it mean?

You appear to have a 12v supply fault on the machine. It could be a fuse, trapped wire or plug out or the 12v side of the power supply has gone.
Check fuses, open circuit and swap the power supply for another one as a temporary measure to see which it is. If you can swap the power supply and the fault is still there then trapped wire is most likely, if the fault goes away then power supply fault is the cause.
In service info at Fault History there is description of this code: FuseDDB12VOpen. Any ideas where this fuse can be located? I have checked fuses in power supply and all are fine.

Is there a yellow LED lit up on the top of the power supply?
If not then new power supply needed
Ok here is a diagram of the PSU next you need to
Check that the +12V is within tolerance, +12V +/- 5% at JDC1 pin 13.
On the side of the PSU
If it is ok we will continue if it is out of tolerance then replace the PSU

Ok I will try tomorrow morning and let you know. Thanks!

According to the diagram pin 13 is on JDC3, not on JDC1. I've check both pin 13 at JDC3 and pin 10 at JDC1 and both of them are showing +50V.

It's over powered then.
Change the power supply.
Some times fuses are hard wired on Xerox machines so you can't really change them, and you have to change the entire part like in this case.

I have tried with power supply from colorqube 9201 and problem is the same, the same code so it seems to be the fault in somewhere else.
