    WC7120 Scan to FTP

    Hi All,
I'm working on a Workcentre 7120 that needs scan to FTP setup and I keep getting a result of Completed with error (018-592) : Lock folder create fail . If anyone could let me know is there a special software besides a standard ftp utility that I would need. This is a new setup and I have never done a xerox before.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you in advanced.

    WorkCentre 7120/7125 Support

    1. Login to CWIS as the Administrator. See the Related Content for additional information.
    2. Click on the [Properties] tab.
    3. Click on [Services] to expand the list of options.
    4. Click on [Network Scanning].
    5. Click on [File Repository Setup].
    6. Click on the [Edit] button in the Default File Destination field.
    7. Enter a Friendly Name to identify this repository if creating multiple templates for this destination.
    8. Select the protocol to be used for scanning to the destination computer. (Generally SMB is used for most computers, while FTP requires the computer to have an FTP Service installed and configured.)
    9. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the Destination Computer in the Host Name / IP Address & Port field.

NOTE: If a Host Name is used, make sure the printer has been configured with the appropriate DNS/DDNS information. See the Related Content for additional information.
    10. Enter the correct Port for the select protocol. (SMB default port is 139; FTP default port is 21; HTTP default port is 80; HTTPS default port is 443.)
    11. Enter the Share Name of the destination folder in the Share field. (This is just the name of the share, not the full path.)
    12. If scanning to a subfolder of the Share, enter the path from the root of the share in the File Path field. (For example, scanning to Shares\\users\\jsmith, enter users\\jsmith
