wc 7855 contaminaton

I am having issues with a WC7855 with the dev tanks filling with excess toner and then contaminating the insides of the machine. Is this just a function of the developer wearing and needing replacement or something more i should be looking for .

Make sure you replace the filter just to the left and below the fuser. It will causing dusting inside the machine. It is a regular maintenance item.
