    [Error Code] Xerox 412 - 123-333 I/F Fail (Impossible Communication)

    I'm new to the Xerox world, need to help a field tech with a Xerox 4112 and the manual indicates "install the Monza PWB" as one of the solutions for the 123-333 code. I don't know what a "Monza Board" is and it's not explained in the SM can someone explain this to me?

    This code indicates a communication problem between the main unit (IOT) and your control panel / screen (UI). The cable that connects these two might be loose on either the UI side or the IOT side.

    Maybe this is your situation?
    Problem: At power up all 3 blue LEDs and power saver button flash on and off and machine eventually comes to 123-333 fault code. Unable to enter diagnostics or special boot mode.
    Cause: UI interface cable loose on one side.
    Solution: tighten knurled screws on UI interface cable, before checking MCU ribbon cables, etc.

    The board that this cable connects to on the IOT might be damaged too. I once had a customer that was getting new carpets installed. The carpet installers moved the machine by pulling it by the UI interface cable and damaged the connector on the board.
