Phaser 7800 not recognizing the black toner

Hello friends, can anyone help me with a phaser 7800 that's not recognizing the black toner.

I have tried cleaning the chip but nothing happens.

Try turning the gear on the end of the toner cartridge. If it is real hard to turn the toner is packed on that end. Shake the cartridge until you are able to turn the gear by hand. You could also have the wrong toner. Make sure the part number matches the old cartridge. You could have metered instead of sold or vice versa.

Although a sold will work in a metered but not the other way around.
