5755 has error code 08-151 from tray 1 which is 8.5X14 high volume day to day use office copier. I have heard it could be 1 of the 3 wait sensors on the pre reg assemby (registration) inside left door (black ramp) or tray 1 feedhead (it has new rollers). I have heard it could also be the registration clutch should be replaced to the new BLUE WIRE style clutch thus preventing 08-151 errors. I have also heard it could be the front rib trays in trays 3 and 4 which may be scratched and need smoothing down. Let me know exactly what it is if you know the answer? Trays 2,3,4 are 85.X11. 433k on copier. The edoc says test top sensor inside left door but the real sensor that it is is on top of reg wait sensor. Misprint? Or could it indeed be the top of 3 sensors inside of left door below bypass tray area and white rollers? When it jams and you open up the left door a piece of 8.5X14 is coming out of the tray 1 feed area going slightly wrapped upward onto registraion area. When I move the 8.5X14 paper from tray 1 to tray 2 all I believe is ok and no jamming. In this scenario with only 1 tray using 8.5X14 WHICH tray should it be in 1 or 2 or does it matter and just leave it in 1? I think this is a real easy problem and I have had it before with this copier and cannot remember what the fix was. So if anyone knows exactly what the fix is would be nice.
