    Xerox 252 Jams Jams Jams

Xerox 252 throwing our random 077-109 and 077-106 and 077-107 errors. It jams consistently with heavy card and anywhere from 5-25 pages apart on plain paper so far.

I have tried 2 fusers and also brand new one today, same issues. The new fuser however was eating the paper, it would have a slight fold on the leading edge with jams being crumpled paper inside the fuser.

Found a SOLID piece of card also jammed in the belt at the bottom point between the belt and protective metal frame on the edge. Was hoping this was the source of all the issues but no luck!

The service guide has quite a few things to try but I am hoping someone will connect the dots between the three errors for me.

Open the inverter door and look towards the top where you will see some curved black teeth that run the length of the top of the door. Usually either some of these teeth will be broken off or if it is trying to con you then the inboard most one will be slightly melted (just enough to cause the paper to catch underneath.

It it is not that it might be the guide on the outside of the inverter door ramming itself into the rollers. This can happen if you have on offset catch tray and it starts getting a bit worn.

Its not the fuser, Your problem is in the right door or Duplex Tray. Those two are your most common jamming areas. It most likely that right door. There is a black plastic guide that the paper exit out of that door. Over a period of time that guide is full of indentations and toner. Once paper hits it that is what will happen.
