    xerox workcenter 5222

I have a Xerox Workcenter 5222 that tells me to reseat one or more of my consumables. I have replaced the drum and toner cartridge but it stills gives me the same message. I have also reset the value of the drum count with no luck. Can anyone help me with this issue?

    Maybe check the fuser?
I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check the contacts for the drum and toner cartridges in the machine. Sometimes it isn't immediately apparent when they are damaged. At least it wasn't for me anyway.
Sorry, it's been a while since I've seen one of those, and I don't have my PWS anymore either. So I'm not sure and I apologize if this was a waste of time.

Are you using Xerox toner and drum or third party?

I guess the first step would be to go to your supplies page that indicates how much life is left on your consumables to find out what one is the problem. The fact that it is telling you to "reseat" it and not that it has reached end of life tells me that the problem is probably a sensor or switch that "sees" that the consumable has been locked in place. Hope that helps.
