    Xerox metered supplies

    Hello

If WC 7120 is set to take metered cartridges does it mean this machine is on contract? If yes how can I check contract expire date?
How to check if machine is or is not on contract? Sometimes in service mode you can find page pack, but how can I check this if page pack is not displayed?

To know if your machine is setup for metered supplies.

Print a configuration page. Look for line stating "Metered Supplies" there will be a "enabled" or "not enabled"
    next to the line.

Pin enabling machine is good forever, unless you lose it!!

Power surges will upon occasion cause the machine to lose pin, and it will need to be re-installed.

Call Xerox 800 835 6100 and give serial number, they will tell you status.

Metered does not mean it's still under contract. We get hundreds of units turned back into us from leasing companies all still set as "metered". No one converts them to sold after end of lease. They will just chug along burning "metered" supplies.

That's how office admins and receptionist turn some cash on the side. Selling their supplies on the down low via e-bay. lol.
