Help with what test print indicates? (DC12)

Now that I've got the paper wave issue corrected I'm trying to solve the print quality issue of this DC12. I'd be glad for advice on what this test print is indicating; the prints are usable on card stock but not on normal weight papers. The customer is calling the output 'textured' but to me it looks like it's not solidly covering the print area. I'm going to do a couple interrupted print tests today to see what the image looks like on the drum and IBT as well as the paper before the fuser, but some knowledge on what to look for would be much appreciated.

If print is good on heavy paper but not on normal check for broken pin which hold 2nd btr backup roll in IBT assy

I did the print interruption tests and found the following (images below). The image on the normal paper looked the same as it did after fusing, so the problem is occurring before the fuser. The IBT image looks very good before it gets applied to the sheet.

According to the service manual the instruction is to replace the IBT belt (section IQ9) in this case, which is surprising as the image on the belt looks good. Is this the direction you would go? I can check 2nd BTR backup roller when I'm in there.

You have a 2nd transfer problem. I have never worked on the DC12 so I don't know if there is any way to adjust the transfer voltage. If you can I would try that or replace the 2nd btr.

Prior to this issue I replaced the entire 2nd BTR assembly, as well as replacing the film seal on the IBT belt due to a toner leak from the cleaner. I also don't know if there is an adjustment for the 2nd BTR voltage but was thinking that way as well - the pressure between the IBT and the 2nd BTR roll is a function of the 2nd BTR cam letting the roll come against the backup roll in the IBT. I'm going to replace the backup roll in case it's worn, but starting considering a bias (voltage) issue as well.

Has the machine been stood for a long time without being turned on?

No, it's been running low volume over over the past 3-4 months.

I started replacing the 2nd BTR backup roll in the IBT assembly and found the problem. The plastic clip had broken that held the roll in place, allowing it to shift out of it's mounting pockets and as a result run higher in relation to the 2nd BTR roll. I took the tension of the belt, reset the roll, and flipped the clip over for now to hold it in place.

Thanks to everyone who helped. The color is back to normal.
