    550 / 560 upgrade kit

    hey guys,

    Anyone got the full upgrade kit for the 550 / 560 ex color server ?
    I think the cds are the same as the ex 570 cds which i have, but im missing the bios upgrade.

    So no my server just shuts down right after the fiery comes online.
    Tried to get the full pack from xerox including the hardware components but its no longer available.

    so im looking for the upgrade dvds and especially the bios update.

    Anyone have them handy ?

      You would need the hardware and one time use Dongle..

      Try resetting the BIOS at start-up this helps sometimes.

      You probably just need a fresh reload of v1.1. Make sure you save the config first.

          The V1.1 is still windows xp based though isnt it ?
          Good to know its a one time use dongle. anyone every tried extracting a bios from an upgraded controller and flashing it on a xp one ?:P

              EFI is wise to anyone hacking into proprietary stuff, probably the reason why its full of bugs. Lol
