7775 Won't Recognise Waste Toner Container

    Hi All,

My 7775 won't recognise the fact it's got a Waste Toner Container in it whether it's a brand new one or an old one. I'm assuming this means a dirty or faulty sensor? Could anyone point me in the right direction of how to clean/change it? I've got a dead 242 that I can use for parts.

    Thanks in advance

    Ken

Check out the flag sensor inside the machine. It pops up often.

Thanks. Could you please be a bit more specific about the 'flag sensor', I'm not sure what you mean.

Use the flashlight and check inside the machine(place where you put waste container).
When you push in waste container it moves flag sensor and machine knows that container is in the machine.

Thanks a lot. In case anyone else in the future has this problem I had to remove the inverter to get at the Waste Toner Set sensor at the rear of the compartment. A quick blast with an air can sorted it out.

            You are welcome.
Yes, you have to remove inverter. But couldn't tell you everything. You have to make some effort
