    WC7345 - Firmware required please

    Hi there.

We have an old Xerox WC7345, (220v, non PS, and built in) that was donated to us, and upon bringing it into service, at my work place. I thought it would be wise to do a software update. Well this turned out to be a big mistake. The copier completed the update, but upon reboot was taking to long to boot, so I pulled the plug, and restarted the copier. - Well this turned out to be a big mistake. The copier now boots, and gets into a constant bootlooping cycle. Only way to stop it, is ether to switch it off, or enter download mode, and even in Download mode, if I load firmware from the xerox website onto the copier with a USB flash drive, the loading of firmware completes successfully, however there is no improvement, the bootlooping still occurs, we have tried formatting the hard drive, that didn't work, I'm assuming I would need to find older firmware. I also have the Xerox Firmware Download Manager, as I want to try to attempt to upgrade, or downgrade from my laptop, still nothing.

If anyone has any older xerox firmware for this model, please email me at paul@vera.co.za

    This will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all.

Tried that, no go. Still same issue.

Thanks anyway. I have dug a little deeper, and I may need the PWS tools for this specfic model.

        Hi Daan.

I have replied to your email, essentially stating that I don't have a DLM file, I only have .bin files.

Thanks for your help so far.
