Does the rest of the screen work normally?? These screens do have a habit of breaking. It's usually just the touch panel not the whole LED and circuit board assembly.
Apart form that do you think the machine knows your not an engineer?

Reload the machine with your PWS.

If you don't have PWS for it, your toast.
