Xerox workcenter 5665 cass. lift help

Hi Folks,
I'm working on workCentre 5665, and cassette #2 doesn't seem to be lifting, I'm thinking a lift motor...?
course it says load paper, but I'm not hearing the paper being lifted. Any feedback appreciated, or a part number help, as I can order thru The Parts Drop, if thats what I need..Thanks !!

Check the gears and the fingers on the try first.

does it give any messages? like Load paper? Paper size/type wrong? Have you printer the error code sheet to see if there are any issues?

Yeah..it says load paper, I did notice it is reading an odd paper size, I think 6"x9" size paper?, I could find anyplace to change that size. when I did switch paper direction (its "letter"size paper loaded), copier is detecting the change from portrait to landscape diection. I did turn the gears by hand, on the cassette itself, to be sure it wasn't binding, it lifts o.k. by hand.no errors in machine status, just says load paper in drax #2.

Adjusting the paper guides activates a series of fingers to tell the machine paper size. Usually I find a ripped up piece of paper jammed in there blocking the fingers. If not the size selection slide ripped off the tray.
