[Error Code] xerox scanner synergix not found on ieee1394 bus : cannot connect to device

good morning my scanner was working on Friday but Saturday it stopped working after looking on the net it says the back digital status led should show a "P" but now showing a "3"? and also the software is error message ieee1394 bus cannot connect to device we have changed the cable and and the card with in the pc but it still saying the same.i have included all the pictures that may help fix this problem. the os is unbuntu and the caldera version is 7.5misc2, we have no experience with linux as even sure the model is xerox ywc-1 after looking on the net there is no info on this product, is there a way to fix this or get the scanner working on windows?
