    Xerox 7835 Image Repeating

    Hello guys,

I have this Xerox 7835 that whenever you print a fulltone or halftone with a white part on it, the white portion is being repeated on the paper, around 95mm after.

The black drum is still in 70% and the colors are in 90%, was just recently replaced. We tried swapping the drums just to isolate but still the image repeats. I have a new drum also that i tried swapping to all of them and test, but still the same. The Belt was replaced along with the cleaner and 2nd BTR, still the same. We tried to jam stop it and check the image on the belt, see attached.

I have included a sample copy of the print. Have anyone got an idea what's wrong with the machine? We are inclined to believe the fault could with the fuser unit but i am not sure this problem could be cause by a fuser unit. Need a help anyone.

    Thanks in advance.

IN the red picture it looks like the white ribbon is next to the image, so it is not repeating because it is not in process direction or in line with the original ribbon in process direction. Did you try another file? What program is it being printed from? I have suspicions on it being a ghost image in the file.
