Dccs 50 in french

Hello,

I want to buy a second-hand Xerox DCCS 50 with Cobra. The machine came from France, and all the instruction on the machines display is in french. I was told that I can't change that. Is this true? ... Or there is an english version of the firmwire that I (or the tech-man) can install ?

The tech from Xerox, who has the pws software registered & all said that he does not have the firmwire in English. Is there a link from where he can dl it ? or buy it ?

if he have 11.50.3 firmware he can replace language.
firmware have a couple language in it.
there is no special firmware in english or in france.

Well .... didn't achived a thing. Together with the tech from Xerox we conected to DCCS 50 with the pws software. The firmware version is indeed 11.50.3.1, but .... did not find the option to change the language. We've spent 2 hours searching for it. If you please tell me exactly the steps or the location of this option, I'll upload a beer .

there is special program which is used to upload newer firmware and language on machine.
he can not use dc 12 diagnostic software for that.

if he is xerox tech he should know that.
to change language on dc 12 you need serial and parallel cable this software and 5 minutes.

this software bring dc 12/dccs50 machine in download mode, ui screen become black, and then you can downlaod firmware or just language.
