[Misc] Xerox WC 5855 Finisher Communication error.Check cabling

Hi every one.
Xerox Wc 5855 got serious problem with finisher by accident.So the finisher can not use anymore.But after removed it out the 5855 got a message"Finisher Communication error.Check cabling...."Anyone knows about this stuff,please help me.I have already done upgrade to 073.190.075.34540 throughtaltboot procedure.

If you are running the unit without a finisher, where is the paper going to go? On the floor?

Thanks.But I have solution on where the paper going.I need help to WC 5855 working stand alone.

5855 requires finisher or at minimum offset catch tray. No finisher, no print.

Fix finisher and put it back on.

Without a finisher or an OCT (catch tray) installed, you will get this message. This machine requires feedback from either unit to be input on the connector where they attach to the machine. The only way to bypass it is with a jumper installed. I know these can be ordered from Xerox for service techs but I don't know if they are available for sale elsewhere.

Yes, xerox makes a finisher bypass tool but i make my own. See the attached pic, i take a paper clip and cut it to give it three points and then use electrical tape to hold together and jump the three holes in the pic. Thats it, it will work without a finisher.Screen Shot 2017-04-06 at 1.55.57 PM.jpg

Thanks to Exok and greatly appreciate to MrXerox.You are really genius.Follow the instruction,I made a jumper between pin11 & pin 13.Now my WC 5855 working fine without finisher(Because it was highly damage).
