    [Misc] Xerox Firmware

    I see a lot of posts from tech looking for Xerox firmware. I've discovered that at least some Xerox WorkCentre and Phaser models do not have firmware updates listed under Windows 10. If, when searching http://www.support.xerox.com, you select Windows 7 as your operating system you may find the firmware you seek.
    I don't know why that is the case. Maybe the Xerox PWS laptops use Win 7. Comments or corrections welcome.

      They don't list Firmware in the mac section either. I pointed it out to someone a while ago and they eventually got it through to the right department and it was fixed.

      That was until the next OS X release and it wouldn't show again.

      It must be a manual process of creating a category and assigning allowed sub categories. Whomever is doing the job clearly shouldn't be 🤦*♂️

          Any other source is bunk.

          It's hidden due to amateur IT people and print shop owners frying their machines during flashes.

                      It's a good one... Careful with the SPAR release as they could brick your machine if applied to an out of date unit.
