[Electrical] Xerox 5632 Scanner failure, 3.3v reading over 3.5v

Hi everyone, i am hitting a wall here. first off i am not xerox trained, i have a workcentre 5632 that has recently been throwing problems with the scanner which we use very frequently. I have been getting the following messages non stop no matter what i have done. i have tested down to the voltage on the PWB in the image processor tray and the voltages coming to that are reading high (3.5v+) for 3.3v lines.

    14-563.00 Scanner needs service
14-560.00 Scanner is calibrating, please wait.
    14-562.00 Adjustments in progress...

Also the following in the event log:
    03-320
    14-710
    14-110
    03-777

    Currently running system software 21.113.02.091

Any help would be greatly appreciated. this machine has me feeling very defeated at the moment.

Check the strap to slide the scanner. He gave me that mistake because he was frayed.

All cables are fine, no fraying or broken wires anywhere i can find. I am getting 3.5v coming up from the LVPS. Do you think it could be the LVPS going bad?

        The voltage is ok.
        It not comming from LVPS.
Replace the white flat cable from carriage.
If that not work you will need replace scanner assy.

All assy scanner. You cant align the CCD. In fact the problem is located in ccd pwb.

So if the ribbon cable does not fix the issue then its time to pitch the machine. with it being so old I don't see the point in spending that much to fix it.

+3.5 is no issue .. you are allowed +/- 3% of voltage. you have other issues.

                  You are right.
Or may be you find cheap second hand machine and make one good copier from two machines.
