    Xerox C60 with Discoloration

I have a C60 that has a smudge or discoloration within the last 1/2" of the trail edge of 12X18 synthetic paper. I forgot to grab the specs of the paper, but I set the tray setting to Coated 3 and it is not Xerox paper, so I can not give you a part number. Heavy paper 3 works fine, as well as the other paper that is in the copier.

I am guessing that it may be fuser speed, but cannot see a setting for it. I tried to set the paper settings according to specs of type of paper and weight, but cannot be 100% sure, because the only paper chart I found was related to Xerox paper.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi MHEON, I think the problen is not related to type of material but the way it was cut. try using a 12 x 19 " to avoid this issue. but center the image on this size.

I will give that a try. I did not see 12X19 paper in spec, but I did see a 13x19.

Its called "Paper Whip" and it happens on large heavy weight paper. The trailing edge flips up after it passes over the 2nd BTR and hits the IBT belt. You can try to bend the sheet downward on the trail edge to see if this helps.
