    [Error Code] 116-317

Replaced memory after reseating and popo. Still boots directly into the 116-317 code. Also can not access diagnostics/service mode. Please Help!

what machine are you talking about ... just an error code isn't very much help.

Check voltages on ESS pwb, then dimm memories.
If the machine have Postscript dimm it can be a cause of the error. Remove Postscript and check again.
Also ROM dimm can be fault.

In my case it turned out to be the Power Supply (I got my error code immediately at startup).
            Part Number 105E16382 (120V)

I have also heard as "adriansto" said that the Postscript DIMM can be the problem.

            Good Luck

The machine had Postscript Dimm but when removed it will not boot at all. Is the ROM Dimm the one located under the hard drive?
