Washed out color copies

I got a workcentre pro 3545 that has really washed out color and B&W copies. The machine has 96000 copies on it and the drums have been replaced. How long does the developer last on these machines? What else can go bad that will cause this problem... Thanks

Try cleaning the optics (the mirror thingys under the platen glass)
