Re: WC7345 with diagonal cloudy streak thru prints and copies on color only
I will be able to post an example of page tomorrow as images at my office location which I will be at tomorrow. I don't think it is transfer belt assembly
because the white diagonal break are only on colors. When I do test sheet the 3 colors have the streaks but the black is solid. As i hardly see this machine, is there a different drive for the colors and separate one for black? Wondering if dv units not turning normally , though no error code. Why else would the black be okay. Must be something common to colors only. FrankComment

Re: WC7345 with diagonal cloudy streak thru prints and copies on color only
Yes the diagonal pattern is always loss of developer
i am guessing you have some composite colors (mixture of 2 or more) on that chart which were a red herring
loss of developer could point to charge leaks, if you saw a ton of cyan dumped in the machine I would consider new drum and chargerComment

Thank you. The customer had printed one sheet of only cyan because he noticed the streaking with the cyan and not other colors. But you will notice on the demo sheet the streaks are going thru the other colors as well except for the black.Comment

Re: WC7345 with diagonal cloudy streak thru prints and copies on color only
If replacing the developer does "NOT" solve the problem.
The I would check the high voltage bias contacts where the developer contacts them at the back of the machine.
The "barberpole" effect has been documented to also be bad contact between the "developer and high voltage bias contacts.
But I would just change the developer first, a lot easier.
Let us know how it turns out.
Good luck.Comment
