[Error Code] Xerox WC C2128 "Communication problem encountered" while booting up.

No code, just the display saying "Communication problem encountered. Reset by turning power off/on.
I've unplugged the finisher thinking the connection was bad, unplug the ADF... won't come ready
Nothing in my manual about this.
Is there a battery on these main boards?

This was a craigs list deal this guy picked up for his campaign. Said it was working before the move. Possible trouble during the move? They banged it up a bit. LOL

Probably the CCM NVM Yellow Rectangular Battery is dead.
You find it in controller situated lower back side of machine.
After batt. replacement you must use pws tool for restore the machine factory settings.
