True, but it still comes down to the engineer you deal with.

Always check out the service reputation in the area you are in before commiting to a company. Some techs are good and some are not... doesn't matter on the size of the company.

      AND how brother!!!!!!!!!
      You nailed it.

I have been to too many tech schools where the ones in training
      should not even be there.

But then you meet one who really has their S#@t together and its great!
Its fun to chat with tech's like that, and they know it when your a tech!!

any way I have to service our canon C1 imagepress and cant even find the SM's anywhere.

Send me your email and I'll get you the Service Manual right away.
I just sent this manual to another guy a couple of minutes ago.

          It is rarely the machine.
It is the service the machine recieves.
Bigger companies have the resources, so they say.
A good small dealer or independant will give a more personalized service.
A one or two person business will be more willing to kiss you ass and make things right than a corporate money grubber.
Can you call the tech direct?
          Not through brand X.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Thanks guys so much for your response!

This looks as if I found a very good site with real tech's

Fixed the problem and did a major PM.

BUT still cant get the MAC os with CS2 to get stable pantone colors.
I know its only 80% saturation but every time we go back to lets say a business card with a green square and we have done this at least 20x.
            the green is always off

the print profile is saved and only change the text and nothing else.
