    xerox 550 - error 093-315

Hello everyone, I have a problem on the 550, the press does not start and gives me error 093-315, I unmounted the group of toner and I cleaned it, nothing, I changed the whole group, nothing yet, I also changed the developer unit.
The error goes on again, I turn on the printer with the door open and the developer units do not start, so the printer goes into error.

    Magenta dispense failure.
    Better to purchase service manual.

Did you reset NVM for 093-315 code?

                Initial Action

                • Check NVM location 762-369. If it is at 3, you must reset it to 0 in order to troubleshoot.
                • Check for obstructions from the Dispenser through the Inner Cover Assembly to the Developer Housing.

                Procedure

Enter the Service Rep. Mode ( Accessing UI Diagnostics).Enter Component Control [093-007] (Magenta Dispense Motor). Select Start.
Dispense Motor is heard rotating. (On duration is 2 sec.) Yes No Unanswered

Refer to BSD 1.4 DC Power Generation (IOT +3.3/+5 VDC), check the +24VDC circuit to P/J430-5 (+) and 6 (-) on the IOT Drive PWB.

Turn Off the power. Disconnect Connectors P/J201M on the Dispense Motor. Measure the wire-wound resistance of the Dispense Motor.
The resistance between P/J201M-1 and -2 pins is between 22.0 and 27.0 ohms. Yes No Unanswered
Replace the Magenta Dispense Motor ( PL 6.4).

                Check the following for continuity:

Every resistance is 1 ohm or less. Yes No Unanswered
Check any wire with more than 1 ohm for an open wire or poor contact.

                Perform the following:
                • Disconnect and reconnect the cable between the IOT Drive PWB and P/J402-B7 (+) and B6 (-) on the MCU PWB.
                • Remove the Magenta Toner Dispenser. Check for poor Auger rotation, toner blocking and Drive gears binding.

If no problem is found, replace the IOT Drive PWB ( PL 11.1) and MCU PWB ( PL 11.1) in that order.

Refer to BSD 1.4 DC Power Generation (IOT +3.3/+5 VDC), check the +5VDC circuit to P/J400-4 on the MCU PWB. If the wires are OK, replace the Low Toner Sensor PWB ( PL 6.3).

Replace the MCU PWB ( PL 11.1).

Check the wires between P/J414-A4 on the MCU PWB and Connector P/J653A-2, and between P/J414-A5 on the MCU PWB and Connector P/J653A-1 for an open wire or poor contact.

Remove the Low Toner Sensor M.

                  Re: xerox 550 - error 093-315

Greetings. Hopefully you are not generic toner. First check the M toner cart to verify the auger/gear mechanism moves freely. If so open drum tray as if you are replacing a drum, pull the black plastic piece back to expose the developer entrance. If the chute is compacted with toner, clean out that chute, remove developer and make sure gear mechanism moves freely and empty any excess toner from entrance. if both of those are in working order then move to the Toner Dispense Motor Assembly (comes out as all 5 toner cavities). Removing this unit requires patience and attention to detail. Remove unit and pay close attention to screw sizes and where they came from, remove toner pwb (2), remove yellow, then magenta dispense unit. Remove the motor assembly and clean the piping system and entire unit. Make sure that all of the parts move freely in the unit with the motor assembly removed. Check motor. No put it all back together in reverse order. Once you start it up go into diagnostics and run the M toner dispense motor 093-007 to feed toner into the developer. Hope this helps and saves you time and money. Dont mess up the machine with generic toner it will only get worse.

                  Hope this helps.

thanks to all, I solved, I was wrong code (I entered the one of 250).
