DC 700/C70/J70 Duplex upper chute assembly

Hi guys,

Duplex belt is jumping beacause teethpulley on mainsahft is worn, so partlist gives no part. nr. Only order upper chute assembly. Does someone knows partnr. for pulley/clutch also? PL.4.5 item 13. Picture attached.

I recently had the same problem. The belt started jumping because the shafts that all the gears and pulleys that drives the duplex belt are gummed up with paper dust. You will have to pull out most of the paper path assemblys to get to the gears and idlers to remove and clean the shafts and inside. Also would be good to clean the brass bushings on the duplex drive shafts while you have access.
Remember to leave the main tension idler loose when done to allow the belt to ride freely our it will continue to cause paper jams and jump teeth.

Yes already done this, new duplex rollers and bearings, but if clutch I described is worn also (Dup motor starts quickly) and noise will come again.

Have you found part number for the clutch?? what did you do to resolve issue?

1) New upper chute 054K35936

2) (Optional) New Duplex Innovator Kit 655N00388. Pulleys with metal bearings
