Basically a communication fault between the IME controller PWB (the one in the marking unit) and printhead 1 (nearest to front of machine)
This fault is usually a dead printhead, but could also be a bad ribbon cable if it's been plugged-unplugged too many times, rarely it's the IME controller PWB.
If you order up a printhead it's best practice to change the ribbon cables too.
I have a customer with a xerox 9301 with error 0f 099 059
Anyone have an idea what this means and how to clear it
Thanks
99-59 is not a common failure. Have the customer read the code again to confirm.
99-59 usually only occurs after someone has been messing around in the marking unit doing naughty things. Ie. Plugging the video cable into the wave slot. If they have done this they have bricked the unit. Push it to the curb for your friendly local garbage man.
