[Misc] Xerox Phaser 7800 SD Card Defective

Hi,

We have one printer, a Xerox Phaser 7800 which has defective SD CARD.

We have a replacement card which is new and empty.

How can we reprogram the SD CARD.

We tried an Alt Boot, which is doesn't work.

I need help on this case please. I have 2 other printer which has the same issue.

Any help is appreciated.

NOTE: If anyone has a procedure how to re-create the SD CARD, it will be appreciated. I think its NV_RAM settings need to be installed on the sd-card.

Unfortunately the one you have does not have the boot file on there. That boot file ext is not available as far as I can see on the net. I have tried to crack one of these and there is a shell of a file to see that the SD card is present on the SBC board. No info in the file and I dont remember what the file ext was either. I had to break down and bought one for about $50 from Xerox. If you cant order from Xerox there are a few companies that do specialize in Xerox and only Xerox. The 2 that I can recommend is Parts Drop in NJ or Item Inc in Woodbridge VA has them.

We have found a Altenate part number on Xerox. They have in stock right now so we will order them with GSN.

I'll have images soon of most Xerox SD cards and a way to put those images onto blank SD cards.

OR You need to order xerox SD card for PH 7800 and perform an altboot procedure. Blank sd card from the store is not ok.

I know but the price is more expensive than having a ROM and just reflash a generic SD Card with the Xerox Flash tool.

Did you have any luck finding SD card image for Xerox Phaser 7800? I believe the SD card on my machine is having issues as well.
