WC5890 with status fault -scanning not available

OLd customer called tht used to have a ricoh and now has WC5890. Sent me info that screen says

    status fault scanning not available

    x 14-517-00 skill level trained

1 05-538-00 doc feeder err user intervention is required topower off/on the machine. Service is required if problem
persists. Copying and scanning can continue using document glass. Printingand other machine service are unaffected. skill level- trained

07-534-00 tray 4 is empty. User intervention requiredto add paper to tray 4

07-535 tray 5 is empty skill level untrained

07-544 tray 1 is empty skill level - untrained

I thought I read somewhere about changing a 748 value to 0. Frank

Have no experience on this model. It appears to be a document feeder issue from what I read above but i just told customer that i have no experience on this model and would get back to him if I wanted to attempt service or to refer him elsewhere.

Please advise as I am trying to avoid presssure and stress yet could really use the $. Frank

None of those codes really mean anything to us techs, pulled from centreware perhaps? Not listed in the service manual.

Need someone stood at the device to pull up the active messages --> Fault History tabs to see properly what we're dealing with.

To get to it, 3 buttons immediately to the left of the UI, press the 3rd one, this should bring up a screen, then it's active messages, and then fault history.

Thank you Richard. Customer had called someone else as I was non-committal + said I would get back to him after researching. He was anxious to get it fixed asap.
