    [Misc] C70 tabs/dividers through feeder?

    Hello,

    Have a customer who's just bought 2 of these.

    They're a solicitors and do lots of hard copies. They want to run the originals through the feeder along with all the dividers.

    I can't say I've come across this before. They've been trying, but keep getting jams.

    I'm probably going there tomorrow. Should this machine be able to do this?

    They said their old Canon C600 Imagepress used to manage it.

      what TYPE divider?

      is it heavier than what the specs are for the ADF feeder?

      is it the same size?

      you didn't give really any info for us to help you !

          Sorry.

          They're normally 1-10, 1-20 A4 dividers.

          So the same size apart from the little extra bit with the number on.

          They're definitely under 200gsm, so within spec.

              and i bet the guides are tight against PAPER therefore causing the divider to buckle and jam..

              why the need to copy DIVIDERS?

                  On what exactly page machine jamming? On dividers or just regular pages? That little extra size may fool sensors enough.

                      Changing NVM 711-169 from 1 to 2 fixed this.
