Re: Xerox 7545 Color registration
no manual adjustment on this machine.
Clean printheads > print solid fill each colour to make sure no white stripes or anything, if white lines replace dev tank of that colour > clean MOB ADC sensor > power off machine and boot up with front door open, then close once booted to force a reg check.
Now test.
If the above fails then initialize the print engine NVM twice in diagnostics, exit and reboot.
Test again.
If all that fails replce the MOB ADC sensor assembly
Test again.
If that fails replace the MCU PWB.Comment

Re: Xerox 7545 Color registration
If you replaced the entire IBT move the pressure release lever from the transit position? They come out of the factory with the belt pressure slightly off to avoid kinks in the belt, you move the position of the lever with one screw to the service position. Usually you can get MOB misfeeds as wellComment

Re: Xerox 7545 Color registration
The MOB sensor can only align the colors if it can "see" them. Are any of the color solids are light?sigpicComment

Re: Xerox 7545 Color registration
Thank you for all the suggestions... This is a great learning experience.
NVM reset didn't do much of anything anything, nor did force registration.
I tried swapping the yellow drum to no avail, prior to this whole debacle.
BUT I put the old IBT belt unit back in & registration is spot on... something tells me that something is wrong physically with the new IBT unit. Now, on to finding out what that may be.
I'm tempted to swap out just the belt, as the old one has solvent stains on it.Comment
