do not have access to a network or centerware and need to reset password for a wc3550. is this possible?? thank-you--tuey

The plastic key was used during setup to activate the machine (otherwise would come to a hard stop around 500 copies made), the purpose was to activate it as a SOLD machine (not a RENT machine) so it can accept sold toner type cartridges.Comment

i've resold dozens of these and they were all set up for metered toners. i wondered if these start up things might be different than the ones for retail machines and enable me to reset everything to solve my password issue. thanks--tueyComment

thank-you, i'm aware of that procedure - that is what i've tried to do but the password to get into system setup is not 1111, it has been changed by previous owner. being denied access to the machine due to password issues makes this a parts machine as i cant change settings or put it on a network. that is my problem but thanks for your efforts. tueyComment
