Xerox Versa Link C405 card stock continuous usage.

Hi all.

Question:
Can 160 gsm print media/ card stock be continuously ran (Not just now and then but all the time) in the Xerox Versa link C405 printer with out any issues or carrier/ dev being pulled out and creating print quality issues.

The printer spec shows that 220gsm can be used but do they mean continuously with no concerns or just now and then.

All consumable life and usage recommendations are at 80gsm. That said, it's the same engine as the 6605 and we have a customer running the sort of GSM you want, constantly with no issues for years.

You will wear out feed components more quickly and possibly shorten fuser life, but I wouldn't think developer/toner would be affected by continuous use of heavier stock.
