    Xerox Document Centre 545 Network-Scan

    Hi,

    I recently bulit in a new Harddisk (I cloned the old one with "Acronis True Image") into the Network Controller of my "Xerox Document Centre 545". It works fine, as far.

    Unfortunately the Network-Scan Function is not available any more.

    Has anyone an idea how i can reactivate the function?

    Is it disabled in Tools? Or is this connectivity related?

      It is disabled in the Machine's Menue and in the Webinterface

        Go to tools and enable it.

          i only had to reactivate it in the copier's menu ...

          Thank you very much

          By the way ... was anyone able to gain root acces to the linux on the network interface? I was able to login as user "savelogs" only ^^

            There is option in tools to enable network scanning and email options.
            Just need to enter activation code.


            And I did not say that you are idiot.
            So if you do not know how to do that do not blame me.

              hey i didn't blame you - perhaps that was because of my bad english, sorry
              it was jocular intented

              but i am serious-minded in getting root access to the copier's linux (i think it is LynxOS).
