Step1: Scan user account created (administrative rights; password; etc.)
Step 2: "SCANS" FOLDER CREATED: (on desktop; properties, advanced, shared, permissions, added, locations, SCANS checked, assigned full permissions, apply/ok, Security tab; added, check names, populated, modified for full permissions, etc.)
Step 3: IP Network IPV4 address noted.
Step 4: Scan Tab on Centreware - (Template name; scan destination; friendly name SCANS, SMB, IP Network IPV4 address entered, Share name "SCANS", Login Name and password, etc.) - ADD
I WONDER if 445 v. 139 (Port #) needs to be changed in IPV4?
Not sure what I am doing wrong. When I try to scan to folder says - Invalid Path Specific!
I set up folder scan folder on local PC and followed instructions (albeit for Windows 7)
Exactly like instructed (WorkCentre 5865/5875/5890 Videos)
