Epson 7800 boot freeze

My Epson 7800 boots halfway and then freezes. Can anyone assist with what might be causing that? Thanks

do you have the Epson software progman?

extra tray... ram?

dis connect w/ pwr off.. boot.. if good pwrdn connect one at a time .. let it boot..

does it have a HDD or a PS HDD?


it would be helpful if you answer these Q's in the OP.

if you called Epson on this they would need all that info.

Sorry but I think we're talking about two different machines. My fault entirely. I posted in the wrong thread initially and without sufficient details. The machine we've got is an Epson stylus pro 7800.

I already gathered that.. it was the other guy thought you were talking Xerox.
I've worked on plenty of them.
Does yours have optional tray? Extra ram? HDD?
YES they can have those options.
I will check my manual, but progman if you have it could help alot.
