hi i have a customer that has a 7535 that keeps leaving marks of cyan and yellow on the printed pages, i pulled out the drums to see if they were damaged and they were not but i did notice that the developer powder built up inside the drum and left a pile of the powder on the drum on one side of it. so i dumped all the powder off of it and cleaned it and put the drum back in and the marks went away but the issue is the drums keep building up all of the developer powder, so my question is what could be causing this issue the drums or the developer? btw the drums for cyan and yellow are the only ones that have this issue and are both at about 40% life left but havent been replaced since 2014 but the black and magenta are brand new and no issues with them

Re: WC 7535 MARKS ON PAGE
First, make sure that the waste auger is working. If you look, you will most likely notice that the recover mylar has detached from the drum housing towards the rear of the CRU (not uncommon, BTW). This can result from the auger not sufficiently working and causing buildup that eventually tears the mylar loose from the plastic housing to which it is adhered. If the auger is working, replace the drums with OEM only. It most likely is NOT the developer units themselves. -

2014 install? and it hasn't completely failed?
vacuum out out the spill and replace drums in question...
Xerox expects quicker use of toners...
the real questions are:
total page counts on ALL consumables?
when installed?
original Xerox toners/drums?
is the machine clean inside?Comment
