044-383 PH F3 Fuse Fail

Bsd-on:CH1.14, CH1.6, CH9.19

Fuse3 on the Paper Handling PWB went out.
This Fail is the Sub System Fail and when this Fail occurs, +24VDC_C13, +24VDC_Intlk_Delay, +24VDC_Intlk will be cut off. (Refer to BSD CH1.6, CH1.9, CH1.12)

Procedure

Turn the Power OFF and remove the Rear Lower Cover. Measure the Resistance Value of F3 on the Paper Handling PWB.
Is the resistance 5 Ohm or higher?
Yes No
Check the connection between LVPS_1 N11A J509_1-2 and Paper Handling PWB J451-5 for open circuit, short circuit, and poor contact.

Disconnect Connector J450 from the Paper Handling PWB and measure the resistance between the following J450 terminal and GND.
• J450-B11, B9, B7, B5, B3 (Toner Cartridge Motor Y, M, C, K1, K2)

Is the resistance 5 Ohm or higher for each?

Yes No
Check the following:
• The connections that are in earth fault (at 5 Ohm or lower) for short circuits.
• The target components for internal short circuits.

Replace the Paper Handling PWB. (PL 18.4)
