    DOCUCOLOUR 240

    I have a DC 240 that shows an error code 010-320. I have looked in the manual but this code isnt listed, does anyone know what this code is and how it is resolved ? I have tried replacing the heat unit but this has no effect and the code does not resolve. Is there an engineer reset code ?
    I have tried switching on and off several times and even tried a different fiery unit, but none of this has sorted the code and the machine is "dead" at present. Any help or advice would be great

    It's in the manual...

    Heat Roll Over Heat Failure. Short in the Wiring harness/AC Drive PWB/MCU PWB. Check In that order

      To Reset the code, NVM 744-156 needs to be set to 0.

        thanks for the advice, unfortunately the UK user manual doesnt list the code, and i dont know how to reset the code either, can you access the engineers screens from the xerox control panel or is it by pc / laptop ? if it is the latter i cant netwrok connect to the machine as this fault code is blocking any connection to the machine other than the 240 control panel.
        is an engineer manual downloadable from somewhere ? as the user guide only has light maintenance ?
        thanks for your help, much appreciated
        regards

          Diagnostics is available through the UI as well as through PWS. You can get into diagnostics through the User Inter face by holding *&#(..sp:"'!{ERROR #46 TRANSMISSION TERMINATED}

            Do you know what the NVM should read on the same error 010-320 for the DOCUCOLOR 260, i go to the NVM and apply the code 744-156, but it gives me a value of 215 and when I type the 0 it says value is incorrect, I tried with 200 and it accepts it but doesnt erase the error from showing.

            Any help??

            thanks
