    xerox 7845 system error

    screen show xerox system power on and off ask system administrator
    then i found on internet
    press 0 10 secs and press start button
    enter passwork 6789
    adjustment
    dc130 nvm
    input 616 14 read
    then enter value 2 write exit and reboot
    machine keep restart
    any advice are welcome thanks

    If you have a 7845 that keeps rebooting, 1 thing that can help determine why is by using the POST codes. (Power On Self Test) Look for the 7 segment display located near the network plug. Just before the machine reboots, see what is showing in this display. There are more than one reason for constant reboots. You can have corrupt software (would require an altboot or a forced altboot). It can be as simple as a corrupt print job trying to print (booting up with the network cable out lets it boot up ready, plugging the cable back in causes the reboot - fix is the clear the print queue on the computer printing to it), It could be defective SD card or a bad single board controller. Check that the small fan on the SBC is working, if it's not, your SBC might be blown.

      the reason is i replace the blade and install it wrong the printout dirt and system error fault code so many .323. 689.
      then i check install correct and turn on machine ,
      then machine stop system error
      i press 0 count 10 secs and press green start button ,then screen chang to input 6789 password return the screen change ,select adjustment select dc131 input 616 014 read and write value 2 and reboot

        keep repeat reboot action ,hearing output tray action ,and machine status lite on do startup action and warning dont push start botton machine do the repeat startup action

          Its not dc130, its DC131. 616-014 is if you are getting a message on the screen that the machine is in a "non customer mode". Nothing to do with what you are having. Are you telling me that the machine keeps restarting on it's own or that it comes up to a screen that tells you to reboot the machine? I would suggest that you re-enter diagnostic mode and look to see what fault codes are being recorded. Again, POST codes are helpful. If the machine keeps rebooting on it's own, what is the POST code that is displayed just before the machine shuts off and begins the boot up again? That will tell you at what part of the boot up sequence the machine stops at and what is the likely cause of the failure to complete boot up. I would start with doing a FORCED ALTBOOT to load fresh new software. If the machine does not complete software install you may have a bad HDD, SD card, SBC. Check the SBC cooling fan. It it's ceased up, you probably need a new SBC due to overheating.

            machine kept restart on its own ,,,the question is i can not reenter diagnostic mode turn on the machine ,near network cable , a red number and character 09u cd fa ca ca ca ca c a.. when load ui version 073 045 34540 begin a. c. .restart it change to . blink

              With that POST code, you should do the following in this order:

              1. Reload system software. (Altboot or Forced Altoboot)
              2. If problem persists, replace Hard Drive and then reload system software.
              3. If problem persists, replace the singe board controller.

                    first altboot we have done it no use
                    second :replace a harddrive reload firmwave ,samething ,no difference
                    we upgrade but the machine reboot the screen shown 073045 34540 this is not we upgrade version , this is the one weused the version , i check this machine original version is 07204000409100
                    only choice is last one

                        i found the parts on internet , items inc .i bought the xerox pro 35 part from them several years ago ,
                        i took out the board (xerox 7845)assembly and see the SDHC the part number 237E27204 lexar multi-use 4GB
                        those part number 237E27214-27210 for 7845-7855 family could be used ?thanks

                            due to replace the drum cleaning blade , something wrong on installed the blade ,only printed out two copies then check the drum blade .and do it again ,installed the drum cleaning blade correct , then turn on the machine press 0 10 secs and press start gointo diag mode 6789
                            select adjust dc131 616 014 read and write 2 machine exit and reboot ,before doing that i write it down an error code 342.323 that is drum K motor fail
                            we did the firmware update machine always keep reboot by it own , is this the reason error code 343.323 drum k motor fail ,let the machine can not boot any advice are welcome thanks

                              System error can mean different things on the 78xx series, most of the time its a bad fuser but to be more certain technicians check for faults codes listed in service mode. Im not sure how you got that nvm setting based on so little information but if it worked great. I'm assuming it did not work otherwise you wouldnt have the need to ask for advise lol
