Xerox WC7755 - print without toner

Hi everyone.

I ran out of magenta toner, but would like to print black and white.

Is it possible to disable empty toner warning and to print black and white without magenta toner?

These machines don't have that capability.

Some manufacturers/models do have a "run black" mode on their color machines, for continuing to work in B&W when a color toner or drum has run out, so it isn't an unusual request, but these do not have that capability. Nor do they have any way to "create" that capability even in service mode or through NVM adjustment, unfortunately.

It is a shame, I wish they did, too. It would probably be a purely software, not hardware, change that would allow it to be a feature because in B&W mode, these models already DO disengage most of the color components... But Xerox hasn't opted to make such an option possible.
